About Samantha Levy

Samantha Levy is the sole therapists at Counseling For Life, LLC. Mrs. Levy received her BA in Psychology in 1995 from The University of Texas at Dallas. She continued on to earn a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Amber University in Garland, Texas. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a EMDR Certified Therapist (EMDR).

From 1997-1999, she was the Secretary/Treasurer for the Louisiana Mental Health Counselors Association. She served as the President of the Louisiana Association of Addictions and Offender Counselors from 1999-2000. She is a Past President of LAAOC.

This private practice has been open and running since 2003.

Samantha Levy is currently involved with several professional organizations to keep up on the new developments that occur in the mental health and behavioral health field. She is a member of the following professional organizations: American Counseling Association, American Mental Health Counselors Association, American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, Louisiana Counseling Association, Louisiana Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, Louisiana Mental Health Counselors Association, and (EMDRIA), the EMDR International Association.
